 Arminda is a cal 39 Mk 111 sailing yacht.

 First time sailing? Not to worry Back Bay Sailing Adventures features a Cal 39 MKIII. She is a 39 foot sailing yacht with ample room on deck and down below in the salon. The Capt. and crew will make sure you are comfortable and relaxed.

The entire CAL 39–hull, deck and interior is the work of the master, Bill Lapworth, whose classic boats are simply legends. And "classic" isn't a characteristic a designer applies to a boat, it's a recognition that the boat must earn.


Captain Harold Britt


Capt. Harold Britt is a USCG 50 Ton Master Captain.

Capt. Britt has been wandering these waters his whole life. He has also spent time sailing the waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the Pacific Ocean. In the Pacific catching Marlin Under Sail. He is a team member of Skabenga Lures. Skabenga is a 44 ft St. Francis catamaran currently sailing in the South Pacific, catching and releasing big game fish.


Captain Harold Britt and his wife Melanie grew up on the coastal waterways and have been sailing in and around Mobile Bay, Orange Beach and the surrounding waters  since they were young. They love and respect the beautiful coastal waterways and the local wildlife.  people to sail. For many years they ran a non profit children's sailing camp for the local kids. They believe in showing their guest a true sailing adventure. We love to teach our guest about basic sailing techniques so you can take the helm and learn sail the boat.
